Germaphobe's Nightmare - Watch How Sneeze Particles Travel Inside An Airplane (VIDEO)

I'll be the first one to admit that I'm a complete and total germaphobe, and I'm on high alert especially when traveling. Yeah, I'm that guy that will Purell my hands after touching anything, and will wipe down my seat and tray table with Clorox wipes as soon as I board.

But the reality of air travel is that it's dirty business. You're in a metal tube with hundreds of other passengers, the majority of which are likely healthy. But all it takes is a sneeze from one sick person for germs to spread throughout the cabin.

In this video, engineers simulated the airflow in an airplane after someone sneezes, with germs shown in the colored pixels. As you can see, they travel EVERYWHERE and land one everyone adjacent to that person.

Moral of the story? Hope that the sick passengers on your flight are considerate enough to cover their mouth. Bless you!
